Safety guidelines
We recommend the following warm-up limits for your first few days with LeadNest:
- Free LinkedIn account: up to 50 profiles per day
- Premium LinkedIn account: up to 100 profiles per day
Please keep in mind, that if you were not very active on LinkedIn lately, your starting numbers should be even lower.
After at least 1 week of usage, you can start gradually increasing the number of daily profiles to continue your warm-up.
For a warmed-up LinkedIn account, we recommend staying below the following profile scan limits:
- Free LinkedIn account: up to 100 profiles per day
- Premium LinkedIn account: up to 300 profiles per day
This is why?
When we scan the profiles, we make a pageview for each profile. If you make too many pageviews, especially if you are usually not very active on LinkedIn, this might look suspicious and LinkedIn may give you a warning and suspend your account for a few hours or even days. This is why we recommend to stay below the above mentioned limits.
How many connections requests and messages can I safely send
You can send up to 75 connection requests, 100 messages (for Basic LinkedIn accounts), or 150 messages (for Premium LinkedIn accounts) per day. These limits are put in place to prioritize the security of your account.
It's worth noting that determining the optimal daily limits for connection requests and messages is a process influenced by numerous factors, such as your number of connections, pending invitations, LinkedIn account type, and more. Consequently, it's possible that LinkedIn may prevent you from executing the specified quantity of actions.
However, LinkedIn imposes a weekly limit on connection requests. Typically, standard profiles are limited to 100 invitations per week, though this can vary based on factors like your account's age, activity level, and user behavior. Users with high engagement and a high Social Selling Index (SSI) score might be able to send up to 200 invitations per week.
